How much data do I need during my travel?

According to Global Data Report residents of the EU consume 2.4GB of mobile data per SIM monthly but in the US data usage is high and varies from 2GB to 5GB of data per device. According to statista.com’s report, the average data usage per consumer in the US is roughly 3.9 GB per month. Taking into account average statistical data you will need from 80Mb to 130Mb per day during your travel and it is directly depends on your usage scenarios.

How do I calculate the amount needed to top up the balance?

It is easy as 1-2-3

Let's assume that on average you will use 100 Mb per day and your travel destination is Turkey for 10 days period.
In that case you will need 1GB of data.

Then go to the Detailed Rates and Coverage section, select the product you use, find your destination and verify how much 1 Mb costs.
For example, when using Global SIM or eSIM in Turkey, 1Mb costs $0.006 at Vodafone network.

Terms of Delivery! Registered postal items mailed as priority (Class A) items immediately by the fastest means of transportation, mostly by airmail. TimeTransfers cannot be claimed if delivery term will take longer time than expected because we have no control over the process of delivery.

    Troubleshooting
  • 1. If native APN data not available on your device, i.e. no APN configured, and no mobile data connectivity, please configure APN manually.
    APN: fastaccess
    Username and Password leave blank.
  • 2. When native APN data present but no mobile data connectivity, please set APN to fastaccess manually.
  • 3. If after setting APN manually mobile data still not working, most probably, you are on wrong profile and your device doesn't switch to the right profile automatically. Please contact Customers Service, we will help you to switch to the right profile and get mobile data connection working.
TimeTransfers do not assign phone numbers to the products. We are mobile data only service and phone number is not needed when using mobile data service.

You have the option to check balance using TimeTransfers bot in Telegram.

  • - You need to find TimeTransfers_bot in Telegram messenger and subscribe on it.
  • - Tap on "Settings" menu on the bottom of the window.
  • - Tap on "My TimeTransfers products" inline menu.
  • - Tap on "Add TimeTransfers product" inline menu.
  • - Afterwards you will be requested to enter Product ID and Security Code *.
  • - TimeTransfers product will be added to your TimeTransfers Telegram account and you will be able to check a balance in the Main Menu > Check Balance.

Another planned feature is the SIM Management Portal. We are finalizing the launch of the SIM Management portal.

You can top up your Global SIM card or eSIM online on our website in the TOP UP BALANCE section by filling out the top up balance form and clicking the "Top up balance" button. You will be redirected to the payment page. Please complete the payment and the money will be added to your SIM/eSIM balance.
It is also possible to top up balance using TimeTransfers bot in Telegram. Please press Main menu button available below on the screen and select Top up balance from the inline menu. Follow simple instructions bot sends to you.
You can transfer the balance from one TimeTransfers product to another using TimeTransfers bot in Telegram.
Please follow the simple instructions below.
  • - Tap on "Main Menu" at the bottom of the screen.
  • - Choose "Transfer Balance" from the inline menu.
  • - Select the product ID you want to transfer the balance from.
  • - Enter transfer amount in US dollars and press Send button.
  • - Select Recepient Product ID or enter it manually and press Send button.
  • - You will receive confirmation message.

You can configure recepients list in the Settings > Recepients list > Add | Remove recepient

TimeTransfers is mobile data-only service and it does not support traditional voice calls.
However, there are a number of Voice over IP (VoIP) and messaging services available, such as Skype, Google Voice, Signal, Telegram, Viber, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp that will enable you to send messages and make voice calls using TimeTransfers.
Important! TimeTransfers cannot be held responsible for the performance of third-party products or services - refer to our terms and conditions for details.
TimeTransfers products do not expire. We can deactivate your SIM/eSIM, if there is no data usage for the last 365 days, counting from the last mobile data session. You will receive an email from us with further instructions on how to activate your SIM/eSIM. If no response is received by us during the time specified in our email, the SIM/eSIM will be removed from our system with no possibility to restore it. If your balance is zero, and if the last mobile data session was 365 + 1 days ago, we have the right to remove your SIM/eSIM from the system with no possibility to restore it.
To restore a faulty or lost SIM card, please send a request to Customers Service.
New SIM card will be delivered to you by registered mail. Replacement of the defective SIM card is free of charge.
Replacement of lost SIM card costs US $15 including shipping costs. This amount will be charged from your SIM card balance or shall be paid to the TimeTransfers bank account prior to send a new SIM card to you.
